Congratulations to Anne Robinson, Agnes Williamson and Carol Barnes on winning Wednesdays Australian Scramble, what a beautiful day for golf! Let’s hope for some more of this weather for the September Sweep on Saturday.

It’s been a busy few days for me personally with a trip to the highlands to play in the Sandy Pipey at the amazing Royal Dornoch Golf Club. Some fairly steady golf seen me T3 for Saturdays Pro-Am with an even par round of 70. In the main event a first round 69 (-1) seen me T1 with only one other player under par and in the last group for Mondays final round. Unfortunately, a final round of +1 seen me finish in 7th place. A frustrating end to a great weekend but that’s golf and that’s what keeps us coming back for more!

On Tuesday I was up to Hilton Park Golf Club to see the Wilson product for 2025 and was blown away by the quality, performance and price point. It’s going to be another huge year for Wilson Golf and I’m excited to be offering a premium custom fitting solution at Ranfurly Castle Golf Club.

I’ll be setting off for the Highlands again on Monday to play in the amazing Highland Golf Links 3 day Pro Am across Castle Stuart, Nairn and Royal Dornoch. Hopefully some more steady golf and a few more birdies in my penultimate event of the golf season.
